His goal for ECR-One and the TSKI is to enable each student to develop their inner self by challenging their physical, spiritual, and mental strengths. Hanshi Jones is also a Minister at the St. James AME Church located in Newark, NJ, under Pastor William D. Watley. He believes that not only can additional educational and Karate-Do training help each student become mentally and physically fit, but it can make them spiritually stronger too. The ethnically diverse group of his students all strive to "love one another as one would love themselves." Hanshi Jones'  students view him as a man of integrity, who possesses a wealth of knowledge about life, physical, and mental fitness.
